After meeting Adesola and discussing my questions with her today, I feel clearer and more confident on my questions. As I plan to move further into my career and set up myself in the real industry,I have found that I have to be on the journey to keep myself on finding out a question that not only interests me and encourages me to improve my career but also helps me to know what are the others think as well. This can make me understand better in my research and enables me to prepare my future work. So here are my initial thoughts:
1) How does make-up change people (women)'s attitude in life?
2) Why is make-up so important in the industry? (Fashion, Film & TV, Theater)
3) Being a make-up artist, how do I develop this into a business eg. a freelancer?
I believe that these three initial thoughts may seem a little vogue, rough and incomplete in concepts or in practice. However, that is where I am now at the moment and I believe that all the thoughts and information that I have had in my mind will help me to find out my real questions and hopefully I can explore and discuss more on this topic with other peers through SIG.
Great, starting questions. Which SIG have you joined? What do you think of the SIG?
ReplyDeleteAs you start the ethical tasks you should find they help you to look more deeply into these questions and focus in more on which one you want to develop and plan to research next term
Great to see you blogging again

Yes - I am interested to see how your questions and planning are progressing Ruby. Some of these are quite broad. I was just discussing with Mina her inquiry, and it has become much more focussed because of time, resources and interest. What will be important to explore for your next step? all 3 questions relate to what you do... could you combine looking at what people want with the idea of your own business or your freelance practice?
